Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree

Mr. Amendola received his J.D. or law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1973.  While a law student, Joe Amendola served as a Law Clerk at The American Academy of Judicial Education in Washington, D.C. During this time, Joe was Assistant to the Director, a role that included researching state law and organizing judicial conferences throughout the U.S.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree

Joe Amendola received his B.A. degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 1970. Majoring in Modern American Political History, Joe graduated Phi Beta Kappa with high distinction. While at Penn State, he was also elected to membership in the Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Alpha Theta honor societies.

Joe started his Penn State academic career at the Ogontz Campus in Philadelphia, PA where he was elected Vice President of the Student Government Association. He also served the Penn State University Park campus as chairman of the Student Court and the Student Government Legal Affairs Committee.

Mr. Amendola was also a member of the Skull and Bones Society and received the Outstanding Senior Award as an upper classman at Penn State.
