Joe Amendola Military Service

Joe Amendola served in the U.S. military in varying capacities from 1966 to 1980. As an undergraduate student at Penn State, he served as a U.S. Army ROTC Cadet. During and after law school, Joe served as an officer in the U.S Army Reserves and the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

Joe Amendola Military ServiceThroughout his Penn State undergraduate studies, Joe Amendola served as a U.S. Army ROTC Cadet. He was designated as a Distinguished Military Student and Graduate during this service. His ROTC experiences provided leadership training and an ability to successfully manage dynamic situations, such as those involved with a criminal legal defense.

 

 

U.S. Army Reserves and PA National Guard

Joe Amendola PA National Guard ServiceJoe served as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves and Pennsylvania Army National Guard.  He attended Adjutant General Corps Officer Basic Course at Fort Benjamin Harrison (Lawrence, Indiana) from May 6, 1974 through August 4, 1974 and graduated first in his class of 53 officers.  Joseph transferred to the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps in June, 1975 and served as Staff JAG Captain with the 213th Support Group and the 357th Infantry Brigade.
